Plasma Spray Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Operate and inspect all types of processes, parts, and activities including assisting in Flame Spray/Plasma Spray. Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer standards, removing burrs and irregularities to meet blueprint tolerances. Maintain accurate documentation, identify parts per planning specifications, and perform routine equipment maintenance while keeping the cellular work area organized. Communicate shift change requirements to ensure team members receive accurate information. This role supports the continuous flow of materials in the 8546 Multi Stage IP Rotor cell within Williams International's aerospace manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- minimum of six months experience in Flame Spray/Plasma Spray
- Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management
- Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
- Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
- ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed
- eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- pre-employment drug testing for marijuana, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, opioids and alcohol
