Job Summary
Plasma Material Handling Operator II on 2nd shift at Grifols’ Plasma Logistics Center. Responsible for unloading plasma shipments, identifying and sorting plasma types, recording receipts in the Plasma Management System, and controlling inventory throughout receipt, classification, and distribution. Requires operating RF terminals, handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining CGMP/SOP/EHS compliance, and supporting cross-functional Plasma Classification Inspector training. 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing/pharma experience and the ability to work in a high-throughput, temperature-extreme warehouse environment are needed. The role includes occasional overtime and is based in Clayton, NC (US).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or FDA-licensed Industry or demonstrated abilities to meet requirements
- Experience using forklifts and/or other power equipment
- Experience in reading, understanding, and following Standard Operating Procedures (desirable)
- Able to lift 25-50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack in freezer warehouse environments
- Effective communication with management and team members
- Capable of basic math and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Cross-training to Plasma Classification Inspector
