Job Summary
Part-time Plasma Center Technician at BioLife/Takeda. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting donors, screening new and repeat donors, taking donor vital signs and finger-stick results, maintaining donor charts and records in the Donor Information System, coordinating donor compensation, and identifying opportunities to improve center processes. Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with shifts typically 4-6 hours per day, 3+ days per week. Emphasis on customer service, safety, and a reliable schedule. Training program provided. High school diploma or equivalent required; prior customer/patient-facing experience is helpful.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient facing role is helpful
