Job Summary
Plasma Center Technician (Part-time) at BioLife/Takeda in Pomona, CA. Perform donor screening and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations; greet donors, answer phones, record donor vital signs and finger sticks, and maintain donor charts using the Donor Information System. Role includes scheduling flexibility with shifts 4–6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, including weekends and holidays. Requires active California phlebotomy licenses/certifications (CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT) or equivalent, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training provided; compensation starts at $19.50/hour, with benefits eligibility as described. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned: CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 32-50 lbs
- Fine motor coordination and depth perception
- Ability to wear gloves for long periods due to bloodborne pathogen risk
- Customer or patient-facing experience (1+ years helpful)
