Job Summary
Plasma Center Technician position at BioLife/Takeda (Temple, TX). Part-time role with most shifts 4 to 6 hours per day, 3+ days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include answering phones, greeting donors, donor screening, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, using the Donor Information System, preparing donor charts, maintaining records, coordinating donor compensation, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Reports to the Plasma Center Manager and requires reliability in donor service and center operations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and ability to handle glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Demonstrated customer-facing experience is helpful for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years minimum experience in customer or patient facing role (helpful)
- Phlebotomy/donor screening experience (helpful)
