Job Summary
Oversee production areas and manage employee performance and scheduling for plasma collection operations. Lead inventory control efforts, resolve donor concerns, and analyze non-conforming events while performing tasks in Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Foster teamwork and communicate effectively to maintain operational standards. Report to the Center Manager to ensure high-quality plasma collection that becomes life-changing medicines. Work full-time shifts with physical requirements including frequent lifting and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift
- Frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
- Ability to perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
- Ability to resolve concerns with donors
- Ability to analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
- Ability to foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts
- Ability to oversee employee performance and scheduling
- Ability to lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts
- Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is required
