Job Summary
Plasma Center Nurse RN Bilingual at BioLife Plasma Services: determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable results. Works under the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager) and Center Physician; familiar with plasma collection regulations and EHS guidance. Supports vaccination programs, occupational health, and incident investigations; acts as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized. Requires RN/NP/PA licensure, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy training, and two years of clinical experience. This role emphasizes donor safety, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with Medical Affairs/Physician to ensure compliant, high-quality plasma collection operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent including graduate equivalent of a recognized nursing program
- Current RN/NP/PA license in the state of responsibilities
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
