Job Summary
Compliance monitoring and auditing of company vehicles and plant machinery across sites, ensuring adherence to DVSA, PUWER, LOLER and related regulations; development and implementation of vehicle and plant compliance policies; investigation and reporting of breaches and incidents; delivery of training and toolbox talks on compliance requirements and safe operating procedures; risk management and proactive safety culture across UK sites.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently across UK sites
- Knowledge of UK road transport legislation (DVSA regulations), PUWER, LOLER, and other health and safety regulations related to mobile plant
- Demonstrable experience in conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and produce clear reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with fleet management software or compliance management systems
- Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 45001, ISO 9001)
- Desirable: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
