Job Summary
Run high-speed converting and packing equipment, control processes from computer terminals, and perform preventive maintenance on production machinery. Maintain accurate data and records while ensuring quality standards for consumer products. Operate essential material handling equipment like clamp trucks and forklifts, using basic hand and power tools. Work 12.5-hour rotating shifts seven days a week, including weekends, with occasional overtime based on business volume changes. Wear required safety personal protective equipment and meet physical requirements for lifting 50 pounds and working in confined spaces. Advance through operating, maintenance, and leadership skills with mentorship and training in electrical, quality assurance, and safety areas.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Willing to work rotating shifts
- Operating essential material handling equipment at the site e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks, etc.
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Lifting 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms; twist, turn and bend
- Entering confined spaces
- Standing on concrete floors for an extended period of time
