Job Summary
Lead plant technical support for Combustion Turbine, Gas Turbine, and Steam Turbine units across CPS Energy generation fleet. Responsibilities include providing specialized technical direction to operations and maintenance, directing CT/GT/ST related tasks, evaluating performance, coordinating outages and maintenance planning, developing and maintaining budgets for CT/GT/ST related expenses, and driving improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. Requires engineering degree, strong leadership and project management abilities, and a track record in turbine technology, maintenance planning, and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and advanced related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience working with Gas Turbines.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- PE registration / Texas
- Power plant or similar experience
- 7FA combustion turbines and LM6000 experience
- GE, Siemens, Westinghouse, ABB steam turbines knowledge
