Job Summary
Instrumentation, Controls and Electrical Production Technician responsible for safe, efficient operation and maintenance of a 2x1 combined cycle plant using GE 7FA turbines and GE Mark VIe/Delta V systems. Duties include electrical maintenance, troubleshooting of breakers/transformers/pumps/motors/ transmitters, calibration and documentation in Maximo, updating P&IDs and panel schedules, coordinating parts with vendors, overseeing electrical contractor work, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures (LOTO, JSA, confined space, hot work, PPE). Requires knowledge of CEM systems, Emerson Delta V and GE Mark VIe controls, ability to respond to trips/outages, and willingness to operate or act as BOP operator as needed; must possess a valid driver license and be able to work overtime, travel between sites, and endure workplace conditions such as noise, dust, confined spaces. Minimum 4-6 years of industrial electrical experience and a high school diploma are required; candidates may be placed at Level I–IV based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with industrial electrical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- 4-6 years' experience in industrial environment
- Demonstrated knowledge in use of proper procedures to clean electrical motors and perform electrical connections on DC/AC circuits
- General knowledge of high voltage switching and relaying equipment
- Demonstrated experience with instrumentation calibrations
- Strong verbal/written communication
- Must pass POSS/MASS exam
- Position can be filled at level I-IV depending on experience and skill
