Job Summary
Manage, assess, and coach employee performance while planning and scheduling operators for a 24/7 wastewater treatment facility. Ensure full compliance with safety policies, Federal, State, and permit regulations by inspecting plant operations, analyzing meter readings, and preparing reports for regulatory agencies. Design and implement policies to streamline operations, coordinate complex repairs, and oversee maintenance records. Investigate operational complaints, train new hires, and assist in budget preparation. Wind River Environmental services non-hazardous liquid waste systems across the East Coast, offering a full suite of solutions to business, residential, and municipal customers.

- Ability to read, understand, interpret and apply permit regulations
- Ability to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable using a computer for various tasks
- 3 years demonstrated supervisory experience directly managing a team of trades people
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental field recommended but not REQUIRED
