Plant Supervisor

Job Summary
Ensure products meet customer expectations and maintain adequate inventory levels. Schedule material deliveries per Dispatch office and ensure they arrive promptly, safely, and efficiently. Maintain a safe workplace compliant with OSHA guidelines and all environmental standards. Keep the plant mechanically and esthetically excellent while preparing accurate daily paperwork. Supervise plant employees to ensure efficient, consistent work with company policies and manage disciplinary procedures for drivers and operators. Handle cash sales in accordance with established practices. Maintain good relationships with co-workers and outside agencies. Requires prior Ready Mix Concrete experience, ACI Level I and FDOT certifications within 90 days, and excellent math and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Prior experience in Ready Mix Concrete for at least 5 years
- Excellent math and computer skills
- Must have (or must be able to obtain as soon as possible) ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and FDOT Concrete Batch Plant Operator Certifications within 90 days of hire
