Job Summary
Plant Supervisor oversees outside plant facilities operations, including installation to removal of cable facilities, customer services, access equipment, and customer premise equipment; directs installation, maintenance and repairs/removals of buildings and generators; trains staff on safety and RUS specifications; manages staff scheduling, performance, and on-call rotation; supervises construction crews and third-party contractors; ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and supplier/purchasing recommendations; travel to sites as needed and lead project coordination with engineering and accounting to ensure accuracy and timely completion; requires CDL and Tower/Pole certifications as noted in qualifications and the ability to work in field environments with rigorous safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience performing broadband and/or other telecommunications related service functions
- A valid, state-issued, and insurable driver’s license
- Successful completion of a Vocational or Technical training program or any other industry related training program is considered equivalent (or 5 years of successful industry related experience in a similar role)
