Plant Supervisor - Extrusion Coating - B Shift

Job Summary
Analyze work orders to create machining schedules and determine stock requirements for Extrusion Coating, Liquid Coating, and Converting departments. Interpret specifications and blueprints to assign duties, plan material flow, and direct machine adjustments to meet production targets. Inspect products for conformance, resolve work problems, and establish procedures to improve efficiency and quality. Maintain time records, requisition materials, and develop capital equipment justifications while interfacing with internal teams to ensure customer deadlines. Requires B Shift coverage (Mon–Wed, every other Sunday, 7PM–7AM). Associate's degree in manufacturing preferred with three years supervisory experience in plastics or extrusion.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work B Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Sunday, 7PM to 7AM
- Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred and at least three years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment; and at least five years in a plastics or extrusion environment
- Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
- Possess good problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Willingness to work as team member or independently
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in manufacturing or related field preferred
