Plant Services Manager

Plan, organize, direct, and supervise assigned activities for the Plant Services Department to maintain hospital physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities, and grounds in operative and safe working conditions. Administer labor and material controls, train maintenance personnel on safety, and implement effective management practices. Accountable to the Director of Plant Services for planning and maintaining an effective organization. Requires ten years' experience in a large plant or hospital setting, a technical school degree or diploma, and state licenses in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical work. Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills are essential for answering telephones, maintaining filing systems, and logs.
