Job Summary
Provide quality and food safety leadership to Plant FSQA Technicians and assist the Plant FSQA Manager; lead projects to improve plant quality and food safety performance, develop and implement QA/FSQ programs, train and manage technicians, review day-to-day activities, ensure calibration and equipment readiness, manage non-conformances and corrective actions, and collaborate with maintenance and sanitation teams to uphold GMP, HACCP, FSIS/USDA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in chemistry, biology, microbiology or food science
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in a quality assurance role in a food-related industry; supervisor experience preferred
