Job Summary
Manage and continuously improve all internal and external plant assurance of quality systems by working with plant management to develop the plant's quality plan. Investigate customer complaints, prepare responses, and maintain a customer database while collaborating with all departments on quality issues and preventative or corrective actions. Facilitate problem-solving through TQM, team building, and quality systems tools to identify negative trends and repetitive defects. Participate as a customer liaison, making visits as appropriate and assisting in implementing customer quality management systems. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, Glass Manufacturing experience, and strong data analytics skills within a multicultural union environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with development and maintenance of the Quality Management System
- Ability to investigate customer complaints, prepare customer complaint responses, and maintain a customer database
- Experience working with the plant management team to develop standard operating procedures
