Plant Quality Manager

Job Summary
Lead the plant quality organization to own product and process quality across manufacturing, driving a zero-defects culture. Define and deploy quality strategy aligned with JCB Production System, establish KPIs to improve customer satisfaction, coach inspectors, engineers, and supervisors, and partner with Operations and Engineering. Own quality gates, implement robust inspection and control plans, monitor metrics such as DPU, scrap, rework, and warranty, and drive containment, CAPA, and corrective actions. Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives; apply Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making; ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and JCB quality systems, lead audits, and manage documentation and records. Must be able to work in a plant environment and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 5–10+ years of manufacturing quality experience
- Proven experience managing teams in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, RCA)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement systems
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
