Plant Quality Manager

Job Summary
Plant Quality Manager responsible for leading the plant quality organization and driving a culture of zero defects. Own quality gates across manufacturing, implement robust inspection and control plans, monitor metrics (DPU, scrap, rework, warranty claims, FPY), drive containment and CAPA (8D, 5 Whys), facilitate Kaizen and continuous improvements, and ensure ISO 9001 compliance. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver world-class quality performance, provide regular quality updates to leadership, and lead internal/external audits. Requires leadership of inspectors, engineers, and supervisors; strong problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and proficiency with quality tools and SAP. Must communicate effectively across all levels and drive standardization and sustainment of improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership responsibilities
- Proven experience managing teams in a production environment
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, RCA)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement systems
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
