Plant Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Drive quality improvement and resolve customer issues through direct interface, maintaining contacts across product development, release, and series production. Analyze production quality problems, coordinate product analysis for customer complaints, and initiate rapid corrective measures with permanent process improvements. Lead customer quality issue resolution, draft satisfaction plans, and manage specific accounts by translating customer needs into quality goals. Conduct Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and risk assessments while partnering with engineering and planning teams to ensure successful product launches. Establish procedures for non-conforming parts, facilitate audits, and train technicians to enforce corrective actions and manufacturing standards.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
