Job Summary

Support the development and execution of industrial gas and plant projects across Central and Southern Europe by acting as a key technical contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Lead smaller projects with ownership of scope, budget, schedule, safety, and technical quality while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve objectives. Manage activities including engineering design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up, ensuring delivery in accordance with Air Products standards and safety requirements. Monitor project performance, provide regular status updates to management, and support proposal development, scope definition, resource planning, and cost estimation. Identify and manage project risks, changes, and opportunities while influencing consensus across diverse groups. This role is permanent, based in Prague, Decin, Litvinov, Warsaw, Wloclawek, Kedzierzyn Kozle, Siewierz, Wroclaw, or Barcelona, with relocation not supported.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • Experience in project engineering or project delivery within an industrial or technical environment
  • Broad technical knowledge of engineering disciplines such as process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or controls engineering
  • Understanding of project management principles and engineering work processes
  • Commitment to safety leadership and safe construction practices
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities in a structured manner
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and build consensus across diverse groups
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Collaborative approach with a willingness to share knowledge and support team success
  • Professional level English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel for site inspections, construction activities, commissioning and start-up support across the region

Desired Qualifications

  • Project engineering experience within industrial, engineering, EPC, manufacturing, energy or process industries preferred
