Plant Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Manage hourly employees to meet established production goals for quality, cost, delivery, safety, and morale while ensuring process procedures are followed. Monitor, record, and report production data including scrap cost, overtime, and first runs. Create cross-training plans, maintain time and attendance records, and troubleshoot daily quality, safety, and production issues. Supervise 5S conditions, monitor inventory for shipping requirements, and communicate work needs with Maintenance, Engineering, Tooling, and Production Control. Comply with collective bargaining agreement terms and interact frequently with internal and external customers. Work all shifts Monday through Sunday, including mandatory overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience in any industry
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory/leadership experience
- Available to work day, afternoon and evening shifts Monday through Sunday to accommodate production goals
- Intermediate to advanced experience with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug tests
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters
- Strong communication, trouble shooting, administrative and organizational skills
- Must have the right to work in the US without sponsorship

- A solid understanding of ISO9001 and TS16949 standards and lean manufacturing processes

- Work all shifts Monday through Sunday
- Must work mandatory overtime as needed
