Job Summary
Lead the plant to improve sales pipelines, safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction while managing P&L responsibility for assigned locations. Prepare and manage capital and operational budgets, establish succession plans for critical human resources, and guide department managers on continual operational improvements. Direct the local sales team in strategy and daily tactical insights to ensure an effective sales pipeline, while working with company representatives to acquire new customers. Review manufacturing activities and initiate team actions to remove problems affecting schedules, costs, materials, or quality. Maintain open communication with employees and corporate staff to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies, and provide performance reports as required. Motivate staff to meet production goals and demonstrate commitment to continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Graphic Arts or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of diversified management experience within the printing industry or similar manufacturing industry, with proven success in leading operations teams
- Must be able to lead a diverse team of both sales and operations group
- Excellent communication skills to communicate with internal and external teams
- Ability to lead and influence change
- Ability to lead through empathy
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong desire to apply continuous improvement throughout the plant
