Plant Operators - Northern Ops

Job Summary
Operate, inspect and maintain a variety of fixed and mobile plant including crushers, screens, conveyors, dozers, shiploaders, stackers and reclaimers. Monitor daily plant inspections, report defects, and work across streams such as sampling, tunnel attendant, mooring, shiploader and stockpile operations. Operate mobile plant equipment and use FT View Scada with maintenance support from Electrical and Mechanical teams. Work mostly outdoors in hot, humid conditions with on‐the‐job training and strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Role based in Weipa on NOps 4,5,5 lifestyle roster, with accommodation and remote-area benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Manual C-class driver’s license
- Good work ethic and safety awareness
- Ability to operate and inspect fixed plant equipment (experience beneficial)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to learn and upskill
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment (D11 Dozers highly regarded)
