Job Summary
Monitor and ensure the reliability of industrial plant equipment, including belt conveyors, pumps, and screw conveyors, while operating heavy machinery such as skid steers and bulldozers. Maintain environmental compliance by tracking dust emissions and scrubber flow, and perform pre-shift inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment cleanup. Ensure good housekeeping in assigned areas and report safety hazards immediately. This role involves rotating 12-hour shifts or 8-hour days, with work in an outdoor, non-temperature controlled environment subject to weather and loud noise. Candidates must wear personal protective equipment and possess a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum one (1) year general labor and/or industrial plant experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and push and/or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs and/or ladders, and potentially work at heights, perceive color differences
- Employees are required to wear safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- A pre-placement physical and hair follicle drug test will be required for anyone selected for this opportunity
- Placement into the position will not be made until the results are received and cleared by Intrepid
