Job Summary
Conduct daily plant operations including running heavy equipment like bobcats, skid steers, haul trucks, and dozers while managing production areas and assisting with clean-up tasks. Report equipment issues to management and complete daily inspections and pre-shift reports. Operate water trucks to control dust on roadways and maintain safety standards across the quarry and crushing plant. Fill in for production positions during vacations or increased demand. Work weekends and overtime as necessary, passing a pre-employment drug screen. Join a team supporting Rogers Group's status as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
- Experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment – bobcat, skid steer, and haul truck
- Self-motivated individual - must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand basic safety and work instructions
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as necessary
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
