Job Summary
Follow safe work practices and assist certified operators with daily plant operations, including collecting water samples, performing basic testing, and maintaining records. Monitor equipment and systems using SCADA to report alarms or issues, while assisting with maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, and treatment equipment. Support general facility tasks such as cleaning and basic field work. This role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays, and no felony convictions. Candidates with one year of semi-skilled building or maintenance experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
- Willingness to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to have operations 24 hours a day/7 days a week
- No felony convictions at any time while employed by the City of Branson
- Ability to pass background investigation, physical capability examination, and drug and alcohol screenings
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building, mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks
