Job Summary
Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities by monitoring plant equipment, collecting and analyzing water samples for quality control, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning. This entry-level role includes comprehensive on-the-job training to prepare candidates for MDE certification within five years, requiring a rotating shift schedule that covers nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions
