Job Summary
Plant Operator responsible for monitoring and maintaining all plant systems during continuous production and planned shutdowns. Duties include reading P&IDs, understanding Maverick/MeOH-to-DME process parameters, performing skilled/semiskilled duties in operations and maintenance, adjusting equipment, monitoring process controls and safety, collecting and analyzing samples (GC and laboratory testing), documenting results, maintaining records using ClickUp/Slack/Outlook/Excel/Word, reporting abnormal parameters to the Senior Operator, ensuring shift handover completeness, and performing related duties. Requires adherence to safety requirements, ability to learn process details, and capability to perform routine maintenance, instrumentation checks, and troubleshooting in a hazardous chemical plant environment. The role emphasizes documentation, on-site safety participation, training maintenance, and operating across outdoor/indoor environments with exposure to heat, dust, gases, and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate (GED equivalency) with working knowledge of plant operations, maintenance, and ability to perform repairs as needed
