Job Summary
Operate stationary engines and mechanical equipment including steam boilers, turbines, generators, air handlers, chillers, and water softeners to provide utility services. Observe meters, record operating conditions, perform preventative maintenance and repairs, and complete regulatory documentation. Requires a High School Diploma, valid Michigan driver's license, and a Third-Class Stationary Engineer Registration. Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the operation, inspection preparation and preventive maintenance of high pressure boilers, controls, feed water systems and steam specialties
- Valid MI Driver License
- State of Michigan Third-Class Stationary Engineer Registration- Must be completed within three years or an approved equivalency
