Job Summary
Operate and maintain rear loading compactor vehicles while working in a team environment with minimal supervision. Perform all activities in accordance with Safe Work Method Statements and ensure compliance with legislative, industrial, and Council policy requirements regarding equal employment opportunity, work health and safety, and environmental protection. Deliver responsive customer service focused on community needs. Requires a Class HR driver's licence, current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card, and demonstrated team experience. Permanent full-time role (38 hours/week) based in Maroubra with competitive wages, superannuation, and shift allowances. Join Randwick City Council's Domestic Resource Recovery team in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in working in a team
- Class HR driver's licence or relevant other certified qualifications
- A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card
- Experience in dealing with members of the public
- An ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
- A willingness to comply with all Council's policies and procedures
