Job Summary
Oversee daily plant operations by safely operating front-end loaders, excavators, and conveyor systems while performing equipment inspections and minor maintenance. Monitor workflow to meet production demands, manage staff, and ensure strict compliance with safety standards including PPE, LOTO, and machine guarding. Train employees on operational protocols and maintain accurate daily production and maintenance reporting. Requires 3-5 years of heavy equipment operator experience, 2-3 years in a supervisory role, and valid certifications. Required Qualifications
- Hold all valid licensing and certification requirements
- 3-5 years' experience as a heavy equipment operator, preferably with screens and conveying equipment
- 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of recycling processes, equipment and industry standards
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, (OSHA, EPA, etc)
- All U.S. applicants must be 18 years of age
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory
- Requires standing, lifting of 50lbs, and operating machinery for extended periods
