Job Summary
Operate skid steer, haul truck, and plant equipment to facilitate clean-up and support surface crushing operations at the Auxvasse South Quarry. Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings while tending to conveyors and performing basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment. Inspect machinery for wear, clean work areas, and notify supervisors of repairs. Participate in safety programs and trainings to promote the Guardian Angel culture, managing multiple tasks to prioritize production needs within a team environment. Work outdoors year-round with minimal supervision, wearing proper personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1+ years of related experience
- Valid US driver's license
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling material
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy equipment operations or military experience
- MS Office and other computer skills
