Job Summary
Operate skid steer and haul truck to facilitate plant clean-up and assist with surface crushing operations at the Auxvasse South Quarry. Control plant equipment and operations in a full-automated rock crushing plant while inspecting machinery for wear and performing basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment. Monitor processes, materials, and surroundings to manage multiple tasks and prioritize production needs. Participate in safety programs and trainings to promote the Guardian Angel culture, ensuring proper personal protective equipment use and notifying supervisors of required repairs. Work in a team environment to provide back-up support for Plant Operator I.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1+ years of related experience
- Valid US driver's license
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
- Ability to work in elevated areas
- General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling material
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving job demands
Desired Qualifications
- Heavy equipment operations or military experience
- MS Office and other computer skills
