Job Summary
Assist in all aspects of plant operation by operating and maintaining heavy machinery, including conveyor belt systems, rock crushers, and front-end loaders. Perform welding, repair, and fabrication on rock crushing equipment while maintaining and repairing all equipment. Adhere to all company policies and governmental regulations. This full-time, hourly Monday through Friday position with some Saturdays required is located in the general Quad City area. A pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
- Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions
- Reliability and strong attendance
- The ability to be a natural self-starter
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Some Saturdays required
- Pre-employment physical
- Drug screen (with continued random drug screens throughout employment)
- Background check
