Job Summary
Monitor natural gas processing plant operations, including product treating, compression, and emergency shutdown systems, while controlling overall facility performance and optimizing processing to maintain proper product specifications. Perform plant start-ups and shut-downs as needed, conduct preventive maintenance, and manage condensate levels within specifications. Provide guidance to Plant Techs and Mechanics, coordinate responses to abnormal operating events, and communicate remediation recommendations to leadership. Engage stakeholders to develop daily and monthly operational targets based on consolidated performance data.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma OR GED
- Full knowledge of instrumentation and controls associated with natural gas processing
- Two - Three (2-3) years of processing experience
- 2 years as plant process board operator
- Have a good understanding of plant principles and operations
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to interface effectively with many internal and external customers, regulatory officials, company contacts, and co-workers
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Must be capable of lifting/ carrying/ pushing/ pulling up to 50 lbs
- Must be capable of vigorous outdoor activities
- Manual dexterity
- Physical ability to work extended hours
