Plant Operator III

Job Summary
Operate and monitor complex equipment and production systems while troubleshooting issues with minimal supervision. Perform routine maintenance, coordinate with the Plant Coordinator, and ensure product quality meets company standards. Follow all safety policies, participate in Emergency Response Team activities, and maintain accurate production records. Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, TPM, and 5S, and assist with setup, changeovers, and line optimization. Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership to maintain efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience
- Advanced mechanical and/or technical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed
- Must be able to perform essential functions including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in an outdoor manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification
- Experience with automated systems, controls, or PLCs
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Leadership or team lead experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including data entry, email, production tracking systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team-oriented with demonstrated leadership potential
