Job Summary
Inspect, test, and operate building machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient facility performance. Maintain, repair, replace, and install parts of physical plant equipment while maintaining all documents for routine maintenance, service requests, and inventory. Provide courteous customer service when responding to requests, maintain a clean and secure workspace, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors by adhering to institutional and regulatory standards. FDNY Q-01 Refrigerating System Operating Engineer certification required. Full-time overnight shift from 11:30pm to 7:30am with weekends and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- FDNY Q-01 Refrigerating System Operating Engineer certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to handle routine and non-routine tasks with minimal supervision
