Job Summary
Conduct fixed plant inspections using checklists, maintain neat work areas, and actively participate in preventative maintenance and safety meetings. Operate front-end loaders and bobcats while coordinating with the asphalt production team to achieve production goals. Execute data entry and equipment monitoring via computer software, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and industry standards. Submit applications to learn about applicable hourly rates and allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of industry related standards and specifications
- Ability to work within tight deadlines in a quality manner
- Ability to work well as part of a team, coordinating with other plant operators and workers to achieve production goals
- Have knowledge of operating and maintaining fixed production equipment, such as mixers, conveyors, and drying units
- Experienced in operating front end loader and bobcat's
- Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
- Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment
- Familiarity with using computers and software for data entry and equipment monitoring
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fixed production facility with asphalt is highly desired but not crucial
