Job Summary
Operate excavators (1.5T–20T) to perform detailed excavation, site cuts, trenching, and material movement while reading plans, levels, and set-outs. Conduct daily pre-starts to ensure machinery is maintained in safe working order and collaborate with supervisors and ground crews to meet project milestones. Safely work around services, structures, and other site elements while assisting with general site tasks when not on the machine. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across diverse landscape and civil projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating excavators on landscape, civil, or infrastructure projects
- Relevant plant operating tickets
- White Card
- A strong understanding of excavation techniques, levels, and safe work practices
- Ability to work to plan and follow supervisor instructions
- Good communication skills
- A team-first attitude
- Physically fit
- Happy to assist on-ground when needed
