Job Summary
Operate three carbon adsorption systems at the Castle Mountain mine site, managing solution flows, pump distribution, and carbon circuit transfers based on laboratory testing. Conduct daily walk-around inspections, check pumps and tanks for leaks, and perform work area safety checks while adhering to MSHA and cyanide compliance rules. Assist with cyanide truck mixing, operate mobile equipment, and maintain accurate shift logs using Microsoft Excel. Work around hazardous chemicals under minimal supervision, maintaining frequent radio communication with team members to ensure safety during active mining operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1 year working around pumps or industrial plants
- Must be able to communicate and write in English
- Ability to prioritize work
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office software
