Job Summary
Plant Operator responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure environmental safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring and regulating treatment processes, pumps, and equipment; collecting samples and performing laboratory tests for quality control; adjusting chemical feeds and treatment rates; maintaining facility security and safety procedures; recording data and logs; reporting operational issues; and assisting with preventive maintenance, inspections, and chemical deliveries. Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED with two years of related experience; certifications (Wastewater Class II within 3 years, WT-5 within 4 years); Indiana Driver's License; CPR/First Aid; ability to read technical documents and perform mathematical calculations; and willingness to work in wastewater environments with exposure to chemicals and mechanical equipment.
Required Qualifications
