Job Summary
Plant Operative responsible for reception, handling, storage, treatment and processing of waste at Wednesbury Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant; rotating 45-hour weeks with 0700-1600 and 0900-1800 shifts, occasional weekends; duties include manual handling, site housekeeping, and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards; operatives will be trained in all aspects of the process; desirable Counterbalance FLT Licence and Telehandler Licence; knowledge of working within a time-critical hazardous waste processing environment.
