Job Summary
Oversee maintenance, repair, housekeeping, and overall physical plant operations for a senior living community; manage preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment; ensure compliance with applicable OSHA and life-safety regulations; supervise safety initiatives, incident reporting, and safety documentation; manage maintenance contracts, vendors, landscaping, and outsourced services; maintain budgets and resource stewardship; recruit and develop Plant Operations and Housekeeping teams; collaborate with leadership to drive resident satisfaction and operational excellence. Skills include leadership, facilities management, HVAC/electrical/plumbing proficiency, regulatory compliance, safety, vendor management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in plant operations, facility maintenance, or a related leadership role (healthcare or senior living environment preferred)
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
- Understanding of OSHA, fire safety, and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
