Plant Operations Assistant

Maintenance-focused role supporting a Senior Care Community; performs a wide range of building maintenance and mechanical tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, HVAC, small appliance repair, and minor equipment repair. Uses TELS work orders, conducts routine maintenance, ensures cleanliness and proper storage of tools, follows fire/disaster safety and infection-control policies, and reports unsafe conditions. Participates in on-call rotation to cover 24/7 operations and prepares apartments/rooms to be rent-ready for new residents, with weekly property walkthroughs to identify repair needs and follow-up actions. Requires strong maintenance knowledge across multiple trades, a valid driver’s license, and a High School Diploma or equivalent; must be dependable, organized, able to multi-task, and work under pressure.
