Job Summary
Environmental Health and Safety Engineer II at Viant's Wheeling facility. Responsible for maintaining compliance with OSHA, USEPA, PADEP and other regulators; developing and coordinating EHS programs; leading incident analysis and investigations; maintaining EHS procedures and training curricula; coordinating audits and assessments; collecting and submitting regulatory reports (e.g., Title V, NPDES, NESHAP, RCRA, Tier II, Hazardous Waste Manifest, Monthly Wastewater); monitoring program effectiveness and driving safety initiatives, energy conservation, and sustainability efforts. Requires 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and a BS in safety, engineering, science, or related field. Salary range $100k-$115k; standard benefits and a strong emphasis on safety culture and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education & Experience: 1-3 years in Manufacturing
- BS Degree in safety, engineering, science or other EHS related field
- Knowledge & Skills: good intrapersonal, presentation and negotiating skills; able to work in a team; experience with preparing environmental reporting; MS Office proficiency
