Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing plant equipment including crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and related machinery. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime while executing welding, fabrication, and component replacements. Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or unsafe conditions and maintain accurate maintenance logs. Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations while communicating effectively with the maintenance team, operators, and supervisors. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in a physically demanding outdoor environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic in a mining, quarry, or industrial plant environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
