Job Summary

Lead and manage the entire Android production operation, overseeing materials management, assembly, shipping, quality control, maintenance, and manufacturing engineering. Develop and administer policies for manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. Direct the utilization of KPIs to track improvement activities and drive lean manufacturing implementation through standardized work and job safety analysis. Accountable for staffing levels, plant layout standards, and IATF 16949/ISO14001 compliance. Mentor the leadership team and lead the plant safety committee to ensure EHS procedures are followed. Collaborate with the Sales Team on quoting and new business development. Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years in automotive manufacturing; 25% travel required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Management, Business, or Engineering)
  • Master's Degree in Business Management
  • 5+ years in increasingly complex management positions
  • 10 years' experience in the automotive industry
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes of the automotive industry
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvements
  • Vision and ability to translate progressive operating techniques into applications and results
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing financial principles
  • Strong logic and analytical skills to direct resolution of complex or unusual business problems
  • Action-oriented and innovative in leading the manufacturing operations
  • Process knowledge of plant department functions and roles to facilitate overall plant synergy
  • Proven leadership ability and utilization of teamwork
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to interface with and motivate all levels of team members
  • Ability to mentor and teach team members effective problem solving methods for related plant and customer problems/issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Travel Required: Yes 25% or less
  • Candidates residing in California or Colorado are not eligible for remote positions

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Management preferred (MBA)
