Job Summary
Senior Plant Manager responsible for leading the Dryer 3 infant formula drying operations in a large-scale, 24/7 dairy manufacturing site. Oversees day-to-day operations, safety, quality, cost, reliability and output; drives Lean, continuous improvement (IWS) initiatives; optimises throughput, yield and product quality; develops leadership within the operations team and collaborates with engineering/maintenance to maximise uptime and plant reliability. Role requires strong track record of leading large teams in complex processing environments, with experience in dairy, spray drying or powder manufacturing, and a proactive, hands-on leadership style focused on value delivery and cultural excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading large teams in complex processing environments
- 10 years’ experience in dairy including infant formula, spray drying or powder manufacturing operations
- 5 years experience leading a team within a 24/7 dairy or food manufacturing environment
- Proven capability delivering operational improvements and performance outcomes
- Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, influence and develop teams
- Deep understanding of food safety, HACCP and quality systems
